Course instructor: John Madama, North Atlantic Graphics
NEASIS is offering two hands-on workshops designed to introduce participants
to the creation of web graphics using the Adobe Photoshop 5.0 software
package, from scanning to the final posting on a web page. Topics will
include:
- attributes of professional digital photographs
- how to scan photographs
- resolution and scaling issues
- layering and composite images
- design of type and placement of type over photographs
- color theory and modes/palettes
- image formats
- special effects
Registration
is by U.S. mail only! You must send a check with a paper registration

These workshops are limited to twelve participants each day. Register
for ONE workshop (they are identical in content). Only NEASIS members
may register. You must include your ASIS member number on the registration
form. Electronic, phone or walk-in registrations will NOT be permitted,
and we will not "hold" a place for anyone. The cost for the workshop
(either one) is $35.00 per person. Payment is non-refundable.
